Athletic Department Important Parent Information
We are very excited to announce that South Western City Schools has partnered with Final Forms, an online forms and data management service. Final Forms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that Final Forms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! Final Forms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time. You may review your data at any time to verify it is current. All students that want to participate in sports, practices, open gyms, open mats, or tryouts must have a current physical on file. Paperwork is available in the main office or you can print it here: English Spanish
Important Dates
Does your child plan to play sports or participate in the marching band? There is scholarship money made available through the Success Beyond the Classroom Foundation (SBC) to assist in covering the Pay-to-Participate cost. SBC is a non-profit organization that raises funds to provide scholarships to qualified students in the district who wish to participate in athletics and/or their school marching band. SBC members believe that extra-curricular activities help students learn and practice the skills needed for success in all areas of life. To be considered for an SBC scholarship, students must submit and fully complete an application, which is available on the district and school websites. Administrators, Athletic Directors, and/or coaches at each building can help you locate the SBC application. Applications can also be found on the building and district websites. Norton Middle School (NMS) Athletic Department is thrilled to announce the introduction of Fall and All-Season Athletic Passes for the 2024-2025 school year! Cheer on our Wildcats from the stands with a 10, 15, and/or 20 credit event pass, and enjoy NMS home regular season games throughout the season at a discounted rate. Passes are hard copy only (a season pass card) and go on sale August 6th and can be paid for directly through the Vanco App (at the link here) (or with cash at the building during school day hours).
Ticket processing is entirely online at the link below (not at the gate of an event). Once the form has been completed, a staff member will follow up with you on next steps.
*Hard copies of passes can only be distributed to an adult associated with the pass. Regrettably students cannot take these home from school for parents/guardians.
