WHEN: Thursdays, 4-5PM - the first meeting is November 13th!
WHERE: Room 2404, Mr. Bodnar's Room
WHY: Chess is beneficial for developing cognitive skills such as memorization, problem-solving, and strategic thinking, while also fostering patience and concentration. It also teaches valuable life-lessons like how to handle both winning and losing gracefully.
If your student signs up, it is important that they attend each scheduled meeting unless they are not at school that day or there is a previous engagement preventing them from attending. Please make sure that your student communicates if they cannot attend.
Students must have a signed permission slip to attend and a ride to pick them up at 5PM.
If you have any questions please contact Mr. Bodnar!
